Walking Golf

This one will be quick and to the point

Today I made an executive decision at about 8:30 AM. I decided to take the afternoon off and go to my son’s Golf invitational. With him being a senior, and been on varsity Golf since the 8th grade, this would be the 2nd time I’ve seen him compete. Golf is a very difficult sport and I’ve failed miserably at it in the past. But my son is good at it and I didn’t want to work. Plus. I figured I’d walk quite a bit following him around the course.

I more than doubled my 2 mile goal today and I am counting this as my walk. I got to see my kid doing something he loves. As a parent, there is nothing better than seeing your kid competing.

I also got out of the house today, way out of the house. I’m happy excited about that fact. Working from home has its perks, but in reality, it does suck. There are days where I can’t remember the last time I got out, I also have days where I can’t remember the last time I took a shower… This challenge has gotten me out of the house for a walk and thank the lord for that fact.
