I love, love this time of the year. Shit starts to bloom and really bloom! It’s like the world around was sleeping and woke up with a boom! The smells are absolutely amazing!

I say this because this week on my walks have been an ultimate and amazing pleasure. Makes my heart so happy. It reminds me of my mom so much. She didn’t really have a green thumb by any means. But I would always complain growing up that it rained so much during my birthday month. She would say the saying we’ve all heard, April showers bring May flowers…it’s entirely true.

I walked today with the girl and did our two miles. Every 20 feet I’d say, “You smell that?” Or “Look how pretty!”. Utterly annoying to her but I don’t care. Needless to say today I stopped to smell all the smells of the flowers and it took us over 40 minutes. Im loving that we are making core memories together.
